Written by Celine Chen, Teaching Assistant, GHRM MBA

On May 22, students in the GHRM MBA program’s Consulting Methods & Practice visited the headquarters of BXB Electronics to deliver their final presentations after spending the semester developing AI-driven solutions to support the company’s HR functions and organizational development. Guided throughout the course by hands-on consulting methods and real-world problem solving, the project culminated in a session where students shared their recommendations directly with BXB leadership and staff.

Each group presented a unique AI-focused proposal tailored to BXB’s operational and HR needs. The proposed solutions ranged from video AI tools and applications to systems such as Greenhouse AI and Bricks.ai, all designed to improve HR processes including recruitment, communication, and employee support. In addition to HR-specific recommendations, several groups also explored broader strategies for AI governance and discussed how adoption could be extended into other departments, encouraging a more holistic approach to company AI integration.

Throughout each presentation, BXB staff, including CEO Penny and HR representative Tanny, actively engaged with students through Q&A. They asked about the practicality of proposed technologies, how they could integrate with existing company systems and software, and whether the recommendations aligned with BXB’s current organizational culture and workflows. These exchanges allowed students to further explain their ideas while also gaining insight into the limitations faced when implementing new technologies.

The final project showcase reflected the significant effort students invested throughout the semester in researching AI applications, analyzing company needs, and refining their consulting approaches. By applying consulting frameworks and AI concepts in a real business setting, students gained hands-on experience connecting academic learning with practical industry challenges. At the conclusion of the event, Groups ZCG and Golden were recognized for their outstanding work and received customized BXB products, highlighting the students’ ability to develop thoughtful and forward-looking ideas for real workplace challenges.
