Alice Tran from Vietnam
/My name is Alice, I am a Vietnamese student and studying at the GHRM MBA at the College of Management of National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU). My first year in the Global Human Resource Management MBA passed by very fast. I still remember my first time coming to school and sitting at NSYSU garden coffee and meeting my new friends. It is truly lucky for me to have crossed paths with my incredible classmates. Despite coming from diverse backgrounds, we share a common openness and patience in learning about each other. Collaborating as a team has been an absolute experience. While our local peers are remarkably young and talented, they remain admirably humble in their approach to working together.
I found "Business Ethics" and "Production and Operation Management" to be the most captivating courses. Despite their distinct focuses, both involved immersive group projects and numerous practical assignments, which made them particularly noteworthy. Engaging in our first debate practice and assuming managerial roles within our simulated company were standout experiences. Even though it was challenging, these activities provided invaluable insights into two crucial aspects of management: integrating ethics into business practices and optimizing decision-making processes to enhance factory performance and profitability. For us these experiences after hours practicing are precious.
Studying in GHRM MBA NSYSU not only brings me knowledge but also creates a series of memories about this lovely place. Having a chance to meet and learn from people besides the lectures. Moreover, I can study a new language with the support from school and as always, I feel welcome and caring day at school in this 2-year program.
