Celine

Hi, I’m Celine! I am originally from the United States and currently a GHRM MBA student at NSYSU. Although my program isn’t even halfway finished, I’ve already been able to meet people from all over the world and experience so many new adventures.

The program itself has been different from my previous education; in addition to establishing a theoretical foundation for the business world, we also have opportunities to partner with and produce solutions for real companies here in Taiwan. All of our classes require some level of collaboration as well – it’s been really interesting working with teams of classmates who come from a variety of languages and cultures.

My favorite part has been exploring everything Taiwan has to offer. NSYSU provides a wide array of events and experiences for local and international students alike, including job fairs, cultural festivals, and off campus excursions. But I’m also grateful to have chances to travel with friends and family while I’m here, whether it is enjoying city nightlife, appreciating the country’s beautiful natural landscapes, or finding amazing cuisine on any corner of the island. 

And lastly, the people I’ve encountered here, whether it’s my classmates or the local citizens, have been extremely welcoming and kind. I have family in Taiwan and visited here often as a child, but my experiences while pursuing this degree has really established the country as a kind of second home for me.
