Reianthong Vongsangkam (Purm) from Thailand

The GHRM MBA program fits with my main three criteria to study Masters abroad. First, this program is about human resources that teach in the College of Management and can advance my HR career. Second, this degree offers an international student scholarship, which makes it quite reasonable for me. Third, Taiwan is not only from the perspective of Taiwan’s vibrant civil society and robust political system but also from the country’s blend of traditional eastern culture woven into a democratic, modern society.

Furthermore, NSYSU has a fantastic location for students to study. Apart from its facilities, the mountains and beaches make it unique compared to other universities. In addition, the thesis aids me in improving my research abilities and learning more about the R programming language, which I may use in the People Analytics area.

Last, the department's support is invaluable. Since I was a campus director of the Hult Prize, the global social business movement, and built it from scratch, the department's officers have been very supportive in terms of connection and finance. Also, while I was an intern, they assisted me in coordinating with the employer and provided me with free insurance for the duration of my internship. As an International student studying abroad, I have a sense of belonging and feel safe by the support from the office.
