Wasaya Chatkaroon (Ami) from Thailand
/When I realised that I had been in my comfort zone for too long, I started to motivate myself to allow myself an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. Studying for a master's degree abroad is the best way to let me grow and gain experiences in a different culture. As an undergraduate student, I had a chance to attend courses related to HR field and then realised that human resources have significant roles in workplaces. It inspired me to pursue further human resource management studies. After I knew that Taiwan offers many scholarships for international students, I decided to pursue my Master's degree here in Taiwan. I have been searching for programs and universities that are outstanding and have high-quality education. I found out that the Global Human Resource Management English MBA Program at National Sun Yat-Sen University, a top ten university in Taiwan, matched my criteria then I decided to pursue my studies here. This program stands out among other universities in this field in Taiwan as it provides students with international knowledge, cultural awareness courses and stunning scenery.
Furthermore, throughout my time here, I have gained not only advanced knowledge in HR and business fields but also leadership and communication skills. Also, I have learned that life is not all about work and study but balancing your personal life and work is crucial. I will not find happiness while living abroad here if I have no support and assistance from professors, friends and the office that pushes me through.
The experience I have gained from this program has shaped both my academic and personal life, enhancing me to become a new better version of myself. I am now more prepared than in the past to work in the HR field that I have dreamt of. I highly recommend the GHRM program to any international student who is seeking a comprehensive and supportive learning environment. I am deeply grateful for the experiences and support I have received.
