/As a second-year GHRM student from Taiwan, I chose the program at NSYSU for its positive learning atmosphere and rich cultural diversity. From the very beginning, the welcoming environment and engaging activities created by the student association helped me connect with classmates from around the world and step out of my comfort zone.
One of the most impactful learning experiences was working on a real HR case study in collaboration with LungSoon, a tuna-catching company. Through fieldwork and team discussions with international classmates, I learned how to apply HR principles in real business contexts and discovered the importance of teamwork across cultures. Inspired by this collaborative experience, I later decided to take on a leadership role and now serve as president of the Student Association, organizing events that foster cultural exchange and strengthen connections within the GHRM community.
My international journey continued during the Dual-Degree program at Nottingham Trent University in the UK, where I gained a broader business perspective and developed leadership skills while working with even more diverse teams. Currently, I am preparing for a family business case competition in Vermont, USA, supported by professors and prestigious alumni from the program.
Thanks to the strong academic foundation, mentorship, and alumni network, I feel well-prepared for my future career. My advice for prospective students is to actively embrace every opportunity—the GHRM program is a transformative environment where you learn, grow, and build lifelong relationships.
