Phung Minh Toan (Eric)

Hello everyone, my name is Phung Minh Toan (Eric) from Vietnam. Although I am halfway through my GHRM MBA journey, my experience in Taiwan has been truly wonderful.

Studying at NSYSU, especially at the College of Management, has been an incredibly enriching experience. The learning environment is truly diverse, with classmates from all over the world, each bringing unique backgrounds and fascinating stories. Our professors, who come from various countries and possess extensive research experience, create a vibrant and engaging academic atmosphere. They are always enthusiastic and supportive, ensuring that students have the best possible environment to learn and grow. Additionally, the Program Coordinator team and the Student Association have been exceptionally helpful, making my transition to NSYSU smooth and offering a wide range of exciting extracurricular activities.

Before joining NSYSU, I spent three years working in Human Resource Management at a multinational company in Vietnam. This professional experience has allowed me to share meaningful insights and real-world perspectives with my international friends. I also appreciate the program’s well-structured curriculum, which offers a wide selection of elective courses, enabling students to tailor their studies to their strengths and research interests.

As Saint Augustine once said, "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page." Beyond my academic life, I have embraced the opportunity to explore and experience different cultures. After my first semester, I embarked on a solo trip around Taiwan and shared my journey on social media platforms. Staying true to my study plan when applying to NSYSU, I take pride in sharing my journey at NSYSU and in Taiwan, hoping to inspire more students from Vietnam to explore new opportunities. I am even grateful to see that many Vietnamese students have become interested in applying to NSYSU after hearing about my experiences.

Enrolling in the GHRM MBA program at NSYSU marks a significant milestone in both my personal growth and professional development. I am confident that upon graduation, a promising career path awaits me.
